Brooks Young

Since joining Abril Law and MAS in 2020, Brooks has worked closely with the organization's attorneys, operational leadership, and revenue cycle teams in support of healthcare providers throughout the United States. Over the course of his tenure, he has developed substantial experience in healthcare reimbursement matters involving workers' compensation claims, motor vehicle accident and third-party liability accounts, self-pay recovery initiatives, coordination of benefits issues, and complex payer disputes.

Brooks plays an active role in MAS's attorney driven recovery model through legal research, claim analysis, reimbursement escalation efforts, and the drafting of appeals, arbitration demands, legal correspondence, and supporting documentation relating to disputed healthcare claims and reimbursement matters. His experience includes assisting with disputes involving authorization denials, reimbursement reductions, liability carrier negotiations, and statutory compliance issues affecting provider reimbursement and patient account recovery efforts.

In addition to his healthcare reimbursement experience, Brooks has worked extensively with MAS and Abril Law leadership on operational support initiatives involving self-pay collection compliance, state-specific regulatory research, payer policy interpretation, and legally intensive accounts receivable recovery matters. His work frequently involves analysis of applicable federal and state statutes, administrative regulations, reimbursement guidelines, and contractual provisions impacting healthcare providers and recovery operations.

Brooks works collaboratively with the attorneys and operational personnel at MAS to support the company's continued focus on legally compliant, operationally efficient, and strategically driven revenue recovery solutions for healthcare providers nationwide.
